Lincoln Road now is busy with shops and sidewalk cafes.

Moseley's, survived the ups and downs of Lincoln Road. Closed in 2004 when the owners retired.

The VanDyke cafe is in the building where Carl Fisher's real estate opeartion was headquartered.

Chain stores have moved into Art Deco buildings on Lincoln Road.

Jerry's Famous Deli, originally Offman's cafeteria, then the Warsaw Ballroom, then a series of nightclubs.

Joe's Stone Crab grew from a tiny seafood stand into a South Florida landmark.

Even fasts food restaurants go Deco on South Beach.

The pink sidewalks of Ocean Drive were widened to accommodate sidewalk cafes.

Espanola Way has followed the trend of popular sidewalk cafes.

The design of some of the new buildings on South Beach has caused controversy in the historic districts.

Today's clubs are exotic, dramatic and a big attraction on South Beach.
